Since I found out how good fresh spinach is in salad none of it goes to waste around here. I vote to cover it. ;)

same here! And then make a creamy soup with pulverised / ground spinach for your hubby to keep him warm and healthy for the winter.

Silent, spinach makes a great salad, especially now that our leaf lettuce is done. I toast a few pecans, throw in a few thawed cranberries, and use a walnut/raspberry vinagrette dressing on our spinach salad.
I'm covering it!(y)

Don't forget to add Manderin oranges and a berry of your choice. We have this for dinner in the summer along with a nice piece of chilled Salmon that has been grilled.

Talking about salmon - I was thinking of buying 2 whole salmons for the Festive seasons. However, I know that they are farmed, not fished and that really puts me off. Yes, homemade creamy spinach soup with flame grilled salmon, hopefully fished! That's what I call A good life!

Zigs, those are handsome potatoes! I envy you--all of ours have been eaten up and I'm back to grocery store potatoes.
No pickings today, but I am going to be planting onions in three of the raised beds. Onions are cheap, and probably I shouldn't be wasting garden space on them, but pulling onions and hanging them to dry is such good fun!
Perhaps I need to get out more . . . .
