The 2018 Sunflower Growing Competition!

Oddly, my son's Sunday school class was teaching about Creation and sent him home with a cup full of dirt and some seeds. Look to me like sunflower seeds. I poked some holes in the cup for drainage and put them under a grow light. I have no idea what I'm going to do with a sunflower if that's what it is though! Im secretly hoping for something that can stay inside in a pot, or at least on the porch.

I already made some entries, but i measured 2 more just to throw them in as well. Also here are some pretty shots of pollinaters on our sunnies. Mammoth still has not bloomed. I hope it will make it in time, but doesn't seem like it will happen.

Well here is our final entry. It's for most blooms. 17 blooms on 1 plant. We had soo much fun this year with everyone, and we can't wait until next year. This plant has 17 blooms, though some are small. Hope everyone is well, best of luck, and god bless.

The one had nine flowers, but that's not the one I entered.....

I know it's too late for an entry, so just sharing this with everyone. Our first and only "mammoth" ever grown finally bloomed today. At 6 1/2 ft. tall so far, it is looking lovely. Good luck to everyone!!! We can't wait to see who won in each catigory!! God bless!!
