I have siders all over my trees and plants, I believe they are called Daddy long legs at least when I was little.

The daddy long legs I am familiar with do not like sunshine and prefer cool damp dark places. Can you take a picture.

If they are the same ones I grew up with, they are not true spiders and are harmless. If your seeing them outside on your plants then you are safe!

What we call Daddy Longlegs or Craneflies are these https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crane_fly again the adults are harmless, the larvae can be a pest.

More spiders, less pests!! Do they have wings (crane flies) or are they true spiders? From your description, you might want to check with your extension agency to make sure they are harmless to humans and animals.

Neither of the pictures above are of spiders I'm familiar with. These are what I've always known as daddy long legs :

But these spiders are harmless to humans but are good for getting rid of other spiders, flies, etc.
