Sowing carrots

These carrots are the death of me! I decided to leave the umbrella of today and of course... It rains! A good quarter or now if my seedlings a smashed to pulp.

How can they get smashed by rain? Knocked down and flattened sure, but they will stand back up. If you had hail that's another story. Heavy rain can mess up newly emerged sprouts but seedlings have some tiny roots holding them.

Ok, flattened. Some are still in spirit stage, others are a few days further along.

I'll bet you that they will all stand up again. Don't worry if they seem crooked. It's not the tops you need worry about.
