I've had this plant with me for about a year and a half. I ordered it online thinking is Mandevilla. Now it's almost 5 feet in height, it's leaves look like the hibiscus and there's not a single bud on it. Can anyone help with what this could be?

I can't tell from that pic, but my first thought is that it looks very similar to my Mulberry trees.

That's very small pot. I'd put it in a bigger pot, or better yet I'd put it in the ground.

You're in India and I think if you've got access to any nurseries nearby, you should show the nursery know-it-alls your photos.

Please do NOT transplant anything anywhere until you learn whether or not that plant may be invasive in your area.

In the right climate, and Mumbai is that, Hibiscus is a large bush approaching tree-sized. If it got some direct sun it would flower and the identity could be confirmed.
