It got cold and REALLY well watered in the winter and now it’s warming up. Feed it with a good citrus food and watch all the healthy new growth this Spring and Summer!

Looks like it was malnourished, stressed and became prone to fungal pathogens. Expect heavy leaf drop. It appears your tree also has twig dieback. This is caused by numerous factors including being too cold for too long a period, excessive water, lack of nutrients including zinc. Keep area clean of debris. Fertilize with a good NPK fertilizer AND a product that has all of the micro-nutrients such as Chelated Iron.
