"Is there anyone on this Forum claiming that a pound of compost has more NPK than one pound of 13-13-13? Anyone? Anyone know anyone who claims that?"
..The NPK of compost is not high....
"A generalization which is patently false in my compost."
Composted manure is equally lacking in nutrients, but maybe a bit higher than homemade compost. Vastly lower than chemical or "natural" fertilizers.
"Another completely false generalization. My lab tests prove it, and my veggies confirm it. My compost is NOT lacking in nutrients."
You said it, Meadowlark. Repeatedly. You claim your compost is comparable in NPK. But yes, you're right, hardly anyone else in this forum says that. The myths are among those uninformed. The folks here are generally pretty smart.
Still waiting to hear about the NPK is of your compost. You claim it's pretty high.
