The snow is finally gone and the buds on bushes are popping out. I want to propagate some current and blackberry bushes. Any advice would be appreciated

Blackberries: When the primocanes get long enough to bend over, stick the tip in a pot and cover with potting mix. Secure it somehow. I usually drive a stick next to the arch of the vine and tie loosely. Keep moist for 3 weeks and the tip will root. Cut the vine off so you have about a foot left for the daughter plant to keep growing. It really is that simple.

Or you can look around the ground for the suckers to come up and dig those up and repot them.

Only use new vegetative growth for propagation.
