Since I am not sure which heading this would go under I decided to post it hear. If anyone can give me a clue what the problem is with my Plumbago. I am not sure if it is because our daughter’s male dog marked his territory all over it when it was first planted. Planted it about 3 weeks ago. Here is a picture. If it is something I am doing i want to know so I can fix it. The dog has gone back home with my daughter. Thank you any advice is appreciated.

May I ask, have you had any frost lately? Have you used any herbicide? Salt? How much has this been watered?

The dog wee could have done the damage, but we need to try to eliminate any other possibilities.

No frost we live in southwest FL and very rarely get frost. Have used nothing on it and water it every day.

It looks like the dog wee then - this seems the most likely answer. Ceratostigma is quite easy to root. If it were my plant, I would take some cuttings from any part of the plant unaffected by the damage, and stand them somewhere in the shade to make some new plants.
Non flowering shoots are best. Cutting the plant back might instigate some nice new growth, otherwise at least you will have replacements.
