Palm tree spots on stem

Hi everyone,

I love my little palm but lately it seems to be having issues. Please see photos. The spots have increased, so I stopped watering it evey week and tried every week and a half or when the soil looks super dry. I watch the clover plant (its friend) for signs of health, but idk if it's too sunny, not enough sun, too much water, not enough. Idk what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

palms are funny if you live in a northern climate. Mine kinda goes dormant during the winter and when the warm spring and summer comes around I place it outside under the porch. It loves the morning sun. Add a scoop of rich potting soil to the plant. Not direct sun light unless it is morning sun only...no afternoon (hot) sun....
