Oxalis in beds and lawn

I feel as Esther does and wouldn't mind them in the lawn or nestled in flower beds and borders. Theyre rather pretty, both the leaves and flowers. Are they as aggressive as Creeping Charlie though? Because those have similar root systems and are awful in my vegetable garden. The only way I know of to deal with them is frequent manual weeding.
