New to Roses in Phoenix

Hi all! I just started growing roses from Lowe’s in Phoenix. I have two plants in large pots (maybe 10 gallons) that seem to be doing well. Can anyone give advice on what to do over winter and into the summer next year? Will they survive the cold and heat?

I would expect black spot to arrive shortly. Unless the roses were rated disease free, propagation methods at the nursery Lowes bought them from probably transmitted disease. A systemic fungicide such as 3336F is one way to keep them clean. This is a systemic fungicide not to be used on edibles.
