Hi. New to forums or even talking w others about gardening. I do like it and usually have plans on my mind but never do them. Maybe talking will help. I'm a little new to Zone 5 planting. I just bought potting soil and have some seeds. I also have a blueberry bush (I think) that I got last fall that seems to have survived the winter.

Hi Ambitex. I'm new too. Maybe we can help each other out. I'm in zone 5b USA. At least I used to be. Who knows anymore. I've had a little success with some plants that are grown for zone 8 just by locating them in the right spot in the garden and out of the wind. Best wishes!

Welcome. My first bit of advise would be to suggest that regular potting soil isn't good for a blueberry plant. Blueberries need a much lower pH level than most other veggies. If you can get some peat and mix it 50/50 with the garden soil it should lower the pH level as needed. Kind of a tough plant to start with.
