My Victoria Plum Tree is starting a second crop, is that normal???

My Victoria plum tree is new, planted this spring and it had 3 blossoms in spring and now has three big green plums (all normal), but 2 weeks ago when it rained like crazy, it blossomed again and now had lots of little new mini plums on one branch - see image. Is that normal?

A bit confused but happy little tree... Just happy to be in dirt and taking advantage of a good drink, enjoy!
