I've had this tree for years, it bloomed often. It was becoming too big for the pot and I replanted it about 5 months ago. It was doing very well after. The Last few weeks it has suddenly dropped so many leaves! Even the little shoot off he base of the tree wilted. I did not forget to water or watered too much, kept the same habit. What can it be? Please help! Losing this tree is going to break my heart.

Azaleas and Rhododendrons are best grown outside in the ground and aren't happy in pots - they are not considered to be indoor plants. If you can plant it outside it stands a better chance of survival. I also noticed in your pictures it is close to a radiator, that won't help either.

Continually watering in a pot is washing out all the nutrients in the soil and there's nothing left for it to feed on. It must be fed regularly. At the moment I don't think it will survive but try feeding it and follow instructions on the packaging, don't be tempted to overfeed it as that's just as likely to kill it.

Thank you very much for your reply. I only moved it there for the picture, it's in a better place. But all other are good points, unfortunately i don't think it will survive Canadian winter, so feed it I will and hope for the best.

put about 1/2 cup of bone meal near its vase, don't mix it in, then just let the thing dry out well.

As far as surviving Canadian winters. If you have a spot near the wall of your house, not the side harsh winds hit at the most. The heat from the house and the protection of the wall might help it. Also, you can burlap stake it near winter. its feet should stay warm because of the house.
