Hi
Any advice in how to organically get rid of leaf miners in lettuce? I read that some research into neem oil as a an organic pesticide has shown to possibility cause infertility? Any other options to try? How about chilli spray? I'd love to hear your thoughts?

There really isn't much you can do about leaf miners in the vegetable garden. An adult leaf miner looks sort of like a housefly. She will fly in, usually at night, and lay her eggs in the interior of the plants leaf. So, the only time to stop the leaf miner is when she first lands on the leaf. If you know when this would happen it would be easy to stop with just about anything but you don't.

Welcome to the forum @joelleg6 :) We don`t usually worry about leaf miners here, and certainly wouldn`t use any kind of spray.
