You can try growing grapes or strawberries. You can also plant a guava tree (not from seeds, you'll need to buy one about 1 year old) in a mid-sized pot and it'll give you fruit in a couple of years if you take good care of it. It depends so much in your climate and the amount of sunlight plants will get.

You can grow any varieties of melons, from water melons to cucumber. Melons grow very fast. You can harvest just in three months. Tomato is also classified as fruit. You can also grow tomato.
