My Leg swelling.

big rockpile
Eating extra salt for a few days wont change much. It takes time for sodium to increase your blood volume and get your heart beating better.

Try salt pills. 2 grams a day for a couple weeks.

Your heart is a pump. Pumps need a reservoir. Your veins are that reservoir. When the reservoir is low the pump doesnt work right neither do the things its operating.
Your ankles swell because there isnt enough fluid at the top to push fluids back up causing it to pool in the legs.
Our veins stretch and without enough blood your circulation suffers. You have to fill the veins with enough blood that they dont stretch so much that circulation suffers.

Thats why people feel better when the hospital gives you a saline solution. It adds volume making your heart pump better. The salt hydrates everything by entering the cells then it can pull water and oxygen into the cell making the cells healthier.

Taking salt pills is like a saline solution but it goes through the gut first instead of straight into the veins so you need a stronger solution. Thats why it takes longer to see results.

Taking salt tablets can cause - Hypernatremia, Stomach irritation, Nausea, Increase in fluid retention that strains heart a kidneys and can cause dehydration. Which is why I can take very little salt if any after heart by pass surgery and liver and kidney problems. Salt dehydrates NOT hydrates. Plus leg swelling So discuss with your doctor before going on a salt course. Thank goodness for salt free crisps.

My neurologist put me on salt pills.

They tell us to watch our salt but get your electrolytes. Salt is the number one electrolyte.

You have to put salt pills in water to avoid stomach issues. Taking the pill will upset your stomach if you dont.

The rhumetologis doesnt understand why salt helps dozens of my ailments. They have been taught otherwise.

Women in their 30s are having heart attacks at a higher rate than ever. And arithmia is more and more common. They know its lack of blood to the heart but cant understand why as they have everyone on pills to make them pee more to flush salt. And they are on restricted salt diets.

Everyone i know struggling with heart and kidney problems are on low salt diets.

Salt is not a cure its a preventative. But it can reverse some health issues.

Baby's who dont breast feed have worse health outcomes. I think its because of the lack of salt in formula compared to breast milk.

Salt helps brain fog alzheimers arthritis lung issues to mention a few.

Softens callouses and fixes chapped lips. Reduces inflammation. Balances ph.

My arthritis has reversed proven by mris

If you are retaining salt eat more potasium go for a walk.

Salt doesnt cause disease but it can prevent it.it does not dehydrate you. Excessive water intake does though.

This ^^^^^^^. Excellent advice.
They almost killed me a bunch of times. A bunch. They killed my mom by mistreating her.

Listen to them but listen to your body too.
Im not in my Dr's text book. Ive taught them things they didnt know. They are typically just checking off a list they dont really understand.

We need more salt than they are trying to push.

A 100lb woman doesnt need as much as 250 lb man. An active child needs more than a sedentary child.

My salt level always showed my in the limits on the lower side. Taking 10 grams a day im in the middle now. We are all not the same but they treat us that way.

All the sick people I know do what their Dr tells them but none of them ever get better excluding injuries and such. I had to beg the neurologist to tell me how to help myself. He reluctantly told me salt and prednisone. Im healthier now than I have ever been in my life not that thats good just a lot better. 62 years of damage but no prescribed meds.

Im a firm believer that salt is good for us. Im living proof.

Japanese consume over 10 mgs of salt a day and have some of the longest living people and are overall much healthier than the west. Their diets are different too but it kind of proves salt isnt so bad. Same with the Chinese.

Its not the salt causing diseases.

Now if it can fix my ocd lol.

Do you think the salt is perhaps one of the OCDs @dirty hands ?
Good point lol

This is the best thing I could find that puts how I see it in the best explanation. Almost like I read it first.
Ive been thinking of this and putting it together for about 4 years now. Ive gone by my experience and comparing things ive read or thought about.
All my life ive been trying to figure out what was wrong with me. I was crippled from pain when I was in my 20s and not one Dr ever helped me. All this time it was a salt deficiancy. No test could ever prove it.
I never heard of this guy before and I dont care for electrolyte drinks. Just salt pills for me. But he explains it well imo.
