I lost a bit of my stomach and am glued together, seems they don't use stiches any more, so I am having to be quite careful. Find I can still do stuff, like digging a couple of potatoes, but it is really slow and thought out, wriggling the fork in with minimum pressure, then getting round so I can lean on it rather than pulling and putting pressure on my abdomen. Not good being slow if you have to stay out of the sun. The wide brim hat sounds like a must, but I find early and late when the sun is not so high works as well, then I have a good long siesta when it is hot. It helps that my stomach wakes me about 4.30 - 5 o'clock when the painkillers wear off.

Time will get us in the end, but it hasn't got us yet.

Well my wife made me quit said sun and heat was too bad at this time.

So I decided to work on the A/C and she made me quit. Because it takes two Arms. My Bother was going to pay for a company to do it. I told him no because my Son was going to do it.

Well called my Son yesterday and he had forgotten but he has still not come and it is only supposed to get in the 90’s today.

Told my wife our Son is probably floating today.

The river will be packed. That is what he likes a big party.

We were invited on a float trip today. To much to do at home. Wife is getting retina surgery monday and will be face down for at least a week.

Well the heck of it is our son was to fix our A/C the other day but forgot. For sure was to be here today.

The heck of it is. It was cool for a couple days now we are under a Heat Alert again.

Have your son over, make him a roast dinner and light a bonfire so you have to keep the windows shut, he might get round to fixing the ac.

Excuse my ignorance but what is a float trip? Best wishes to your wife for her operation.

You bring whatever you want to tge river and float down river which is north for us as a group and drink beer and have fun. It depends on the water speed but usually takes about 6 to 8 hours. You get picked up and taken back to your car.
