Hello everyone. A few days ago my mother was cleaning our garden, so we have got now a place to grow some new plants. We would like to plant there some fruit trees, but some of them we already have: apple trees, plums trees, pears trees, sour cherry trees, sweet cherry trees, peach trees and also raspberry bushes. We also had grape tree but now we are not sure to plant it again. What other edible plants do you recommend?

Hazelnuts are lovely, but they are magnets for squirrels, but then again, you might like squirrels. Remember though the squirrels will ALWAYS eat them before you do! I've learned this from bitter experience!

The Hinnonmaki red gooseberry is a wonderful sweet fruit. Kiwi is another, passionflower fruit is lovely, but don't blame me if your garden is smothered with it. A morning helping (chilled by night air) is wonderful! Blueberries is an invaluable addition! Good health to all, especially @DirtMechanic and his beloved Becky!

A lot depends on the min temps in your area; what is winter like, usually?

If you can, plant some rhubarb.
