Enjoying the blooms on this Strobilanthes dyeriana, commonly called Persian Shield, which I've brought inside for the winter.

Persian Shield (Strobilanthes auriculata var. dyeriana) is such an attractive plant in both flower and leaf. Despite its common name, this member of the Acanthus family (Acanthaceae), is native to Burma and Thailand.
