We bought a house in Jacksonville Florida and are working to develop the landscape. We've got some plants that we are trying to identify. Here are 2 pictures:

Not sure if it's "Japanese Privet" or "Chinese privet" Many privets, and laurels are considered invasive for your area, so be careful of that.
