Hi, so I was growing some red onions, however, just recently, I noticed these mushroom type things growing in the soil (although I’ve never seen mushrooms which look like this before). Does anyone know what these are? Are they normal mushrooms, or some kind of parasite? Do I need to be concerned? Any help is greatly appreciated!

What does that mulch consist of?
It appears to me that the growth you see is NOT from the onions but from the mulch. This happens often when very rich material is used as a mulch.
