A cucumber trellis was prepared being two 4 by 8 foot reinforcing concrete wires about three feet apart. About 9 plants will be trained to climb the mesh. This keeps the fruit off the ground and the fruit will be all green without the bleached part from lying on the soil. It also contains the vines which can spread a considerable distance.
