Hi everyone. I just transplanted a 3 year old avocado tree yesterday. It was grown from a seed. Can I start grafting it? Should I wait until next spring? Does grafting put stress on the tree? I'm not sure if I can transplant and graft at the same time. Thank you.

I guess that Avocado is standing outside ?? If it has a stem of 10 -12 mm it is good for grafting. So you should wait until next year. It would be good, if you have a professional grafting tool with the 3 blades. I am always using a grafting pliers for Paw-Paws, Cherry trees, grapes….
