Brown spot on monstera deliciosa

Hello everyone! i’m just starting my plant mom journey and this is my second plant. i got this lady delivered today and noticed a small brown spot with a yellow kind of halo around it and i’m wondering what could be the reasons? could it be fungus? what can i do with this?
also noticed that one of the leaves is ripped, could it be the same thing? any help would be very appreciated:)
