Blackberries!!

Just got them planted a little over a week ago. They'll grow in south florida, the only question is the yield, as the winters may not be cold/long enough every year for the best results.

I can't wait to hear how they progress! I love blackberries in a lot of baked goods and jams - hopefully your yield is good! Do you have any plans for making anything with the berries, or are you just going to enjoy them on their own?

To be honest, I don't remember the last time I ate blackberries. It was a long time ago.

Yum! Blackberry jam! I love to make jam and make some blackberry thumbprint cookies for Christmas. They sure take a while, but they are delicious! I hope you enjoy!
