Any advice please re disused fountain

This is my drill that I used to drill 1" holes in the concrete screed of our koi pool base, before I had it filled in.

You can hire something like this if you no suitable drill yourself. They are slow turning so easier to control. Ideal for drilling a hole in the fountain.

That is good advice..we have walls that are in old money two feet in depth here ...so use to large drill workl..

just thought I would check the depth and allowing for wrong start so take off two inches and at the end it was 26inches = 24 inches ..not exactly scientific...but a challenge doing it on your own...
