I have quite a few yuccas that really grow good in my yard but ive noticed they dont always bloom each year. Some even look they are dying but bounce back.
I know that stresses can keep them from blooming each year. My question is should I cut the flower stalks after blooming or do I leave them alone? At what point should I cut them?
Some ive waited until spring and others ive cut back right after blooming because of their location like out my kitchen window.
Im just curious of what's best for flowering.

Thank you Martin, i have been leaving them on all winter for aesthetics. I have 2 healthy looking plants that didnt bloom so I was curious.

Even my plants in part shade did well this year.
