Possibly. Last year after they dried out it seemed like a fragile gourd. If so somebody mixed up some seeds.Could it be a gourd?
Could be. Cooked one last night. Didn't have much flavor. May not have been ripe enough. I'm also growing crookneck squash that I didn't plant. These are all grown from seedlings that I started so I wouldn't expect that sort of mix up. I'm also growing acorn, butternut, table ace, and straightneck. I don't think cross pollination since each plant is growing one variety.Would you believe croockneck (or straightneck) yellow squash crossed with an acorn squash? Both are C. pepo
