Need help identifying this squash. This same squash came up last year and I don't know where the seeds came from.

Would you believe croockneck (or straightneck) yellow squash crossed with an acorn squash? Both are C. pepo

Could be. Cooked one last night. Didn't have much flavor. May not have been ripe enough. I'm also growing crookneck squash that I didn't plant. These are all grown from seedlings that I started so I wouldn't expect that sort of mix up. I'm also growing acorn, butternut, table ace, and straightneck. I don't think cross pollination since each plant is growing one variety.
