I only water the plants twice a day at most. So it is not very humid. Hot weather here so unlikely fungal. But the yellow leaves have been persistent for a very long time. Is this kind of disease and should I remove them from the plants?

Thanks

If you have to water two times a day that is an indication you need to up-pot into a slightly larger container. The leaf drop is telling you that you have run low on root space with nutrients.

Try to match the original potting mix. Don't up-pott more than just a couple of inches in size. If you put it in a large container you will most likely over-water because of the extra amount of new soil will raise the water content. Find a new container just a little larger than the one you have now and transplant and the yellowing will go away.
