Will morning glory destroy my entire garden? Help!

Depends a bit on the weather, but I wouldn't leave it longer than a fortnight normally. Good idea to have a quick go round soon after it rains and get all those two leaves, and I am a bit more relaxed in winter. Perhaps 'regularly' wasn't the best word, when I see green or it looks like compacting.
Going close around plants takes a bit of practice, getting close up with an onion hoe is not a bad idea while you are learning.
