Growing Morning Glory Indoors

Hi all,

Just moved into a new apartment, and I am starting a houseplant collection. I wonder if anyone has experience growing morning glories (Ipomoea tricolor) indoors?

I live in the Northern Hemisphere, so it's the end of Autumn right now. Is it possible to sow some seeds now and keep them by the window at room temperature with additional lighting from a full-spectrum lamp?

Thanks for any help!

Welcome to the forum @Newbie1337 :) I daresay anything is possible, but I wouldn`t even contemplate growing this plant indoors. There are so many alternative plants that would be sure to offer a pleasing display without creating headaches and problems. Morning glory will only open it`s petals for you if it has sufficient sunlight.

Bonjour, @Newbie1337! I have been learning about morning glories. However, I have no experience of growing them inside.
