When to sow Pear, kiwi, and Plum?

Hey there!
Can anyone tell me when to start the process of sowing Bartlett pear, kiwi, and Plum seeds? I live in zone 10 (Southern California). Thanks! Also, any tips/tricks would be appreciated!

You can sow your seeds any time in inside containers but don't expect any fruit for about 8-10 years.

It is probably too cold there. Below about 55F they http://www.tropicalpermaculture.com/growing-bananas.htmlstop growing and all you get is a plant.

Rarely. The reason I believe I am able to produce is I have a friend a couple of miles away with a fruiting banana. I'm wondering what else could be the cause.

Are you sure your Banana tree is a fruiting type? Not all Banana trees fruit. Do you know the species?

They do take more than a normal amount of water.
