It's an idea if you're fed up with constantly sorting out lines.

But what a pain to replace the zip-ties. They won’t last as long as the line, either.
I had a friend who was tired of replacing line, so he used galvanized wire instead. Lasted longer, but tore stuff to shreds he wanted to keep.

As the string comes in different thicknesses, I use the next size up rather than the one recommended for my Flymo strimmer. They last longer.

Not necessarily a pain, they do make cutters for removal of zip ties. Fine tips and a flush backside.

I'd do this in a pinch but long term is heavier string and extra spools pre loaded.
