I've been growing yardlong asparagus beans.

They were planted at the same time as the bush beans in the wood planter in the background.

Same soil, same watering schedule, all that.

The yardlong beans are just not growing at all. This is the first year I've grown these, but these things have been stalled out at this size for a month now. I'm debating about ripping them out and replacing them with some sugar snap peas or something else.

Don't rip them out...they are just doing what they can in the environment they are in.

They are hot weather beans that thrive best in temps between 77-95 deg F for optimal growth. Temperatures below 50°F (10°C) can cause damage, stunt growth, and harm plant health

By yardlong beans do you mean pole beans? I'd heard pole beans start up slower. But I haven't done them much myself.
