9 days into Spring and it's been pretty wet and cold. Promises of a warm weekend though so will be in the garden. It's 10 degrees C which is 50 degrees F at 4 am and not raining at present. We've had some really wet nights which sounds lovely and relaxing. You'd think I'd manage to let it lull me off to sleep seeing as I like it so much:confused:.

How was it nicer in Scotland than the rest of the UK?!

I don't know about the rest of the UK Becky, but my island home missed out on summer this year, it's good to have dry weather and warmth. :) Having said that, the temperature has dropped to 13C/55F today and the heating is on this evening. :(

I would have already assumed room temperature if I had to live in constant cold, overcast, foggy, rainy, dreary and on a good day to be able to see the sun. I have so far found it to be easier to cool off than to warm up. You are a better man than I Gunga Din

Gosh Trellum. That seems a bit harsh, a blanket being an extra. Hope you are feeling better at least warmer.

Thank you, I was a bit surprised it took her a bit to offer me the blanket, lol. I was admitted some years ago for the same problem, and the service was different :( But it's ok, I'm much better now. I only hope I didn't sound so weird yesterday, lol, I was highly medicated.

Oh no, hope you're ok!

Thank you, becky, I was very medicated yesterday :) Feeling much better! I have high hopes I won't end at the ER a 4th time this week!

Trellum, I'm so glad you're feeling better.

Today is another chilly and rainy day. I developed a habit of going for long walks right after waking up. Rain can't stop me from going to my favorite park:)

@claudine Thanks Claudine! And that sounds so lovely! Last two nights over here it has been so chilly and rainy, such a nice break from that scorching weather we have been experiencing lately :O I'm so glad fall is almost here!

Looks like we're going to have a nice sunny day here today! Temperatures should reach as high as 20 deg C, and it should be a nice clear night so we might be able to get the telescope out :)

It's what we all get used to Chuck, you probably couldn't live here like I couldn't live where you are. Anything over 25C/77F and I wouldn't be fit for anything. :)

It's been a lot better here today, plenty of sunshine and temperature pretty much normal for this time of year, 20C/68F.

I'm glad too. The sun and blue sky doesn't really match my mood. Also, I honestly enjoy wearing rain boots, carrying an umbrella and listening to the rain. Everything looks prettier when it's raining:)

It's just barely past 5:00 am, and I could swear I hear thunder somewhere in the distance. The rain has been coming down almost every afternoon and/or evening for a few days now. Thankfully, it has been followed by either cooler or drier air much of the time. We had a return of the muggies over the weekend though, which made it feel hot as heck.

I found a way to cool down quickly, Chuck - I eat a popsicle. It's now part of my post work ritual in the evening after I leave the garden center. Not sure what I'll do come winter...
