whats wrong with my plant :((

Hi! I'm new to the plant community and I'd like to ask for help with my plant. I believe its a Caladium Humboldtii, I recently got it around a week ago and now it seems to be dying on me ( I placed it beside a window, the soil is fairly moist, the temperature here has been quite hot but also rains from time to time (my country also doesn't have winter) If someone knows what I'm doing wrong please tell me! I'd love to save this poor guy ( thank you!!!

Welcome to the forum Ellie. This plant likes to be in the shade, so maybe it has been too hot or sunny near the window. It doesn`t need overwatering.
