Help! The leaves at the bottom of my bamboo palm is dying I don’t know why? I have a humidifier and water it once the top soil is dry and it has drainage holes. The top of plant seems to be doing ok though and there is some new growth. The leaves at the bottom get lighter then crispy. It’s still in the nursery pot I got in.

How long have you had it?
How close to a window is it?
How often do you check it for moisture?
When you water, does some come out of the bottom?
The leaves at the bottom are the oldest and first to go when the plant is stressed.

Move it closer to the window and open the blinds/curtains most of the time. Check the watering once a week and water thoroughly when it needs it.
It's still adjusting to a lower light intensity than it had at the grower's and will lose a few more leaves before it stabilizes. They're pretty tough and will adapt over the next few months.

You need to up pot your plant in a container that's two inches larger using the same soil.
