Rain! I found 6 or 7 more bulbs coming up, I’m sure I’ll find more after they have a chance to pop up after the rain.

finally cleaned out and pruned my big perennial garden, its down to almost nothing except for some bulbs starting up and drifts of snow drops. simply magic to know that come May I will barely be able to walk through it with all the plants that will be up. the secrets that live under the ground.

Still more rain. A low cool rain, perfect for spring, my plants are going to love it. But we aren’t too happy since we were trying to work on vehicles, with out a garage!

What is that purple flower? It’s very pretty and striking looking
That's a hellebore JB. I razed that and a few others from a Seed But had to wait 3 or 4 years till they started to flower

Beautiful @Daren ....I have some flowering for the first time , you do have to be patient when growing them from seed...but it's worth it!(y)

expanding on David from D's comment-came across this shot from last season, a summer afternoon with rain-so I guess you could say pics are looking good in March..

(snow on the way for us.....again...but nothing like the east coast has been going through!)

We went down to San Antonio to go rescue a friend in a bad spot, I saw a box of bulbs for sale for $12, and bought it. 23 bulbs, with a good variety. 3 asiatic lillies, 10 of something, 10 of something else, they’ll blend in well. But I still need more soil for the pots, so I’m bad.

My daffodils that I haven’t seen bloom before, have bloomed! Very pretty. I’ve got solid yellow blooming in one spot, yellow with darker yellow almost orange edge on the corona, and these. I’ll have to mark what’s what, then mix them well when it’s time to plant them this fall.
