I want to add crocus! Only blooms we have so far are some of the daffodils, most of the hyacinth. I’m wondering if my water iris will even bloom this year. I’ll start adding bulbs, corms, and such this fall. I’ve got a lot to do first prepping the ground the flowers will be in. Then digging the rest of them up, and getting them all moved. So I’m trying to figure out what to do with the naked lady lillies. I’ve only got a little while to mark them or dig them up, but am out of places to put them.

I’ll have to get more pics of the blooms tomorrow. Pity I can’t share how they smell. The hyacinth smells amazing. Just little wiffs of scent as I work out there.

@JamieB is that a swimming pool in the 2nd pic?
Yes. Being out in the country, when my feeder goldfish got to big, I moved them to the pool for misquito control. I didn’t know squat about goldfish ponds, had intended for those to feed my turtle, but they were too fast for him. So my pool is now a pond. As times gone by, I’ve discovered I like having it as a pond. Predators can’t get in there, floods won’t wash them away, and they are big! I’ve got 4 of the original fish left, I’d guess them to be about a foot long each. I’m trying to make it more pond like, adding plants, the filter I made isn’t as good as I’d hoped it would be, I’ll have to work something out. But they are doing well.
