Very interesting...the most common butterfly we have around here is called a fritillary. Full name Gulf fritillary or passion butterfly (Dione vanillae).

No resemblance to your nice-looking plants. 🤠

I find veggie garden plant blooms both fascinating and predictive.

The delicate potato plant bloom with one bloom shed and another closing.

Back from our long trips away. So much blooming, will try to do a video walk about. We still need to tackle the leaves, but the rain has other ideas. Nice and chilly now. Planning again to leave on the 13th. Hope to get some leaves up by then.

This one has great sentimental value to me as it was my grandmother's favorite flower. I tried to start it from seed last spring but got absolutely nothing...but this spring have many plants popping up...Sweet William (Dianthus barbatus).

It is described as a short‑lived perennial. Mine have very small blooms which I love because of the sentimental connection...

It is a very good year here for the Blanket flowers (Gaillardia) as they are popping up all around in the Pollinator attractor garden.

Described as another short lived Perennial...

Delighted to see the return of the perennial Lanceleaf coreopsis (Coreopsis lanceolata) in my pollinator attractor garden. Started it last spring from seed and very happy to see it return.
