What grass is this please?

Hi there

We've just moved into a new house and the lawn was very overgrown when we moved in.

We've managed to get it sorted but now there are lots of bare patches with clumps of grass that don't present like normal grass!

Can anybody advise us as to what type of grass it is and the best way forward in managing it please?

Hello and welcome to the forums, the best thing to do is start over with new grass.
Or follow this
