Welcome to the forum @MAJ :)

No way an expert at recognising plants but could the 2nd one be a very poorly looking Acer?

Hi Upsy Daisy. Pretty sure it's not. Not seen acer leaves like that (???) Looks really familiar, but I can't work it out.

@Upsy Daisy is correct. the plant has been scorched by wind or sun. Please leave it in a sheltered place, away from strong sun and wind. Morning sun is what they want. It's a lovely plant, but UNDER STRESS!

In fact, it's so scorched at the ends that it has managed to baffle our knowledgeable @Owdboggy !

@MAJ , Welcome to the forum and would love to see some more posts like this from you!

Aah, yes, now I've looked more closely at other images of dissectum leaves, I see what you mean. Thank you @alp and @Upsy Daisy!

Well, it has managed to confuse @Owdboggy ! Hehe! @Owdboggy is very good at identifying plants.

@MAJ You have a lovely acer there. Please look after it. It's an exquisite plant!
