Watering needs of plants going to seed

IMO they need the same amount but in any case the plant itself will tell you if it needs more water. It will be droopy in the AM if it needs water. And the weather will be a big factor also. If it is hot and windy it will need more water than if cool and cloudy.

When the parsley gets ripe tap the flower stem over a place you want it next year, for some reason self sown parsley always seems to germinate better. I put a seedling in a pot when they come so I can stand it where I want it to do its thing the following year.

I grow my lettuce in potting mix that I have to water every day when temps are in the 90s. If I don't get there in time, you can tell they are droopy looking. Need to water before that point.
