Hey everyone, hope your summer is starting off well. I've been trying to leave some of the unknown "weeds" popping up in my gardens until I can figure out what they are and would love your help identifying two...

The purple flowered one smells minty!

The yellow one has no scent

Thanks for any insight

The one definitely looks like a mint plant. The yellow one is called rue, I think. There are some plant ID apps that you could try. They are fairly accurate.

I didn't write well at all. Sorry for that!
I think "Catmint" (Nepeta spp) is really a genus of plants (which includes catnip & a whole lot of others).
I'm pretty sure that the catnip (Nepeta cataria) has white flowers with purple dots, but I'm a total amateur, so take my thoughts lightly! Very lightly!

Isn't it wonderful that our Creator crafted so many varieties of plants to enjoy that we get confused?
Enjoy Today!
