First harvest of sweet potatoes. At least it doesn’t make me feel like a complete failure.

I have nothing because I planted a second summer garden instead of a winter garden and it was not a good idea because the sun shifts too much where my summer garden is located. :cautious:

That's a shame @DirtMechanic but we learn by our mistakes.
And dirty fingernails! Which reminds me how much I love the rubber coated gloves they sell now! There is a product called plasti-dip that is normally used to recoat handles on tools. Ace Hardware and many auto stores and hardware stores sell it. One could take any set of gloves and coat them in any color! I need some as a stocking stuffer!

I've just looked that up on Amazon, it's about £11.99 for a spray can. How long does it last when the gloves?@DirtMechanic
For gloves I would think the liquid would make a thicker coating. Its just liquid rubber basically. Quite a while I would think once embedded in a knitted or cloth weave type glove. I suppose it would depend on usage. One could mix a little sand or something in it to make a very grippy tough material that is comfortable.

We've got a pair of sort of leather gloves that we use for thorny bushes. Would it be alright for them?
It sticks to metal and should have no trouble with leather. If they are older I might scuff the polished areas with sandpaper to ensure adhesion.
