Tomatillos finally producing some usable fruit. Sure are an interesting plant. Need to find a good recipe to use them in.

I like that Louisiana Green Velvet okra also....but today's pickings were a visit to the storage shed where red potatoes, yellow onions and red onions are stored from a May harvest from the garden. Its been a good year for storage thus far, drier than the last couple of years and headed into September we have ample food ready for winter.

Its about time to start some of the cool weather crops for fresh eating but these spring crops are still very tasty.
