You may remember I tried using these metal bed head and foot as a shield to protect my plants from the cockatoos which ate my Birds of Paradise flowers, giving them a very bad hair day. Didn't work. Now, in their third incarnation the metal frames form a focal point in another garden with a pot, which was matte gray and now gloss black, and a black shinny ball on top which my sister gave me ages ago and has been knocking about my garden looking for the right place. A friend had suggested a pot so rather than purchase I have utilised what I had.

Looking good DeborahJane. (y) I can think of another way that may stop the birds disrupting your plants but it's not pretty. Would you like to know? :D

@DeborahJane The things we do for our beloved plants! You could almost let a tiny climber up the frame! :D

Parrots get bored easily as you probably know DeborahJane. My mum used to give hers the large leg bones from a cooked chicken - that kept them amused for ages shredding them. It's worth a try. :)
