I recenty saw a beautiful and fully grown sunflower in the garden and the following day it looked like it had a huge chunk taken out of it and the poor thing died. Do you think monkeys could be the problem here and would they eat the sunflower or could it be something else?

There are not wild monkeys where I live, but I have heard that at least some species do eat sunflower seeds.

That is so sad! I absolutely thought is brightened up the garden so well and it made it look so colourful. Now I will have to rethink the plant because each time I am going to get a sunflower the moneys will eat it for breakfast! Thank you for the response.
